SUZUKI ASIAN CHALLENGE SHOUTS OUT FOR CLASS OF 2016

The talent hunt in Asia revs up. The Suzuki Asian Challenge, which was established in 2015 as Suzuki’s talent developmental platform, is on the lookout for the new Class of 2016.

Riders aged 13 to 25 from Sri Lanka, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Nepal who are interested in being a part of the Suzuki family are invited to email their racing profiles to yvonne@twmr.com.my.

The Suzuki Asian Challenge races as part of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship roster of race categories. It is also a semi-scholarship programme whereby the racing bike, suit and helmets, hotel accommodation and on-ground logistical arrangements are sponsored by Suzuki. Successful applicants need only pay for the travel expenses for themselves and their accompanying manager or mechanic.

Riders are trained under the watchful eye of Superbike rider Yukio Kagayama who now also runs successful racing teams in Japan and Asia.

Talented riders developed through this programme will be given the opportunity to level up to the bigger classes.
