ROUND 3 FIM ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD IN SUGO

The 3rd Round of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship has been confirmed and will be held at The Sportsland Sugo International Circuit in Japan.

The updated schedule will be released in due time.

According to Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of Two Wheels Motor Racing Sdn. Bhd. (TWMR), “FIM Asia Road Racing Championship always strives to provide the best platform that will serve to unleash the full potential of its riders and teams. We have successfully completed the first two rounds of the championship in Buriram, Thailand and Sepang, Malaysia which gave our riders, teams and business partners the right support that was needed to further accelerate in their capacities.”

“For Round 3 scheduled for 12th-14th August, 2022, we will be heading to Sportsland Sugo International Circuit. With the growing interest within the community and increasing number in the fanbase, we believe that the circuit ground will play a significant role in developing the needs of the motorsport industry as a whole. Additionally, we will be hosting only 5 Rounds this year instead of 6.”

FIM Asia President, Stephan P Carapiet said, “FIM is excited about having the race in Sportsland Sugo International Circuit, Japan for its very first international race.”

Endo, Wataru, President of Sportsland Sugo, Japan said, “We, Sugo International Circuit, are very pleased to be able to hold the ARRC as it would be the 1st International race in 15 years.”
