ADENANTA SHINE IN HOME CIRCUIT

The Supersports 600cc category at the Round 4 of the IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, held at PERTAMINA Mandalika International Circuit, Indonesia with Mohammad Adenanta Putra of ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM topped the practice session that ended on Friday.

In Practice 1, Rheza Danica Ahrens of ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM took the top spot with the fastest lap time of 1’39:074s. His teammate, Mohammad Adenanta Putra placed second at 1’39:168s followed by Apiwath Wongthananon of YAMAHA TEKHNE Racing Team ASEAN at 1’39:986s.

In Practice 2, Apiwath improved his lap time and led the pack at 1’39:102s. At second place was Muhammad Helmi Azman of IDEMITSU Boon Siew Honda Racing Team at 1’39:195s. Adenanta took third place at 1’39:233s.

In Practice 3, Adenanta topped the session at the fatest lap time of 1’38:566s. Rheza placed second at 1’38:881s followed by Helmi at 1’38:926s.

The combined practice results, Adenanta appeared as the fastest overall, while Rheza and Helmi followed suit, taking the second and third spots respectively.

Adenanta said, “I’m happy with the practice session result on the first day. I tried different settings in every session; some were positive, but some were negative. There’s still room for improvement for tomorrow’s qualifying and Race 1, but I’m pleased that I managed to achieve a good average time in every practice. I’ll strive for more tomorrow and be ready to compete.”
