HIROKI FASTEST IN JAPAN

The TVS ASIA One Make Championship in Round 3 of the IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at Mobility Resort Motegi, Japan happened today. The Japanese rider, Hiroki Ono emerged as the fastest in Practice Session, combined.

In Practice 1, Japanese rider, Hiroki Ono set the pace with impressive lap time of 2’04:654s to claim top spot, followed by Zen Mitani and Riichi Takahira from Japan securing second and third sport at fastest lap time of 2’05:337s and 2’06:128s respectively.

In Practice 2, Hiroki once again secured the top spot with the fastest lap time of 2’05:750s followed by Zen and Riichi at 2’06:130s and 2’07:249s to claimed second and third spots.

The combined results from the practice sessions unveiled with Hiroki as the fastest overall, followed by Zen and Riichi at second and third spots.

Hiroki commented, “Today was a good first day. I have experience racing at the Motegi circuit, but this is my first time racing in the TVS machine, so it was a new experience for me.”

“I was surprised that my lap times were better than I expected it to be. Of course, tomorrow I want to further adjust my settings and riding to improve my lap time,” Hiroki shared his thoughts.

“This time, Zen Mitani will be participating as a wildcard rider, so I am expecting a fast-paced race. But nonetheless, I want to have a good race in front of all the Japanese fan,” said Hiroki.
