Md Izzat Zaidi Md Salehan of the Pitsbike JRT OneWay aced as the fastest in the Underbone 150cc of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, Round 2.
Izzat concluded the qualifying session clocking in at 2:33:382s aboard the Yamaha Y15 ZR.
The category which is debated as one of the most challenging and unpredictable races in the world witnessed Izzat adjusting to his pace in practice 1 and 2 where he made 2:36:686s and 2:34:046s respectively. While he landed at position 7th and 4th in the earlier practices, Izzat managed to take the lead as the fastest for the day.
Commenting on the session, “I was in good control of the machine and it is certainly a satisfying session for me today. For Race 1, I hope to make it at the Superpole tomorrow and keeping my fingers crossed that I would make it to the podium.”
