The Underbone 150cc category kicked off its journey at Round 3 of the IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship practice sessions at the Mobility Resort Motegi, Japan today. M. Murobbil Vittoni of YAMAHA LFN HP969 IND0NESIA Racing Team showcased remarkable performance, taking fastest for practice sessions, combined.
In Practice 1, Adytya Fauzi of RACETECH SIXTY Racing Team claimed the top spot with a blistering lap time of 2’17:521s. Gian Carlo Mauricio of UMA Racing MMR YAMAHA Philippines secured second position with a fastest lap time of 2’17:697s. Fahmi Basam of YAMAHA LFN HP969 INDONESIA Racing Team took third spot with the fastest lap time of 2’18:141s.
In Practice 2, M. Murobbil Vittoni of YAMAHA LFN HP969 IND0NESIA Racing Team took the top spot with the fastest lap time of 2’15:771s. Fahmi claimed second spot at 2’16:431s followed by Dimas Juli Atmoko of One For All who clocked 2’16:730s placed third.
The combined results of the practice sessions, Murobbil emerged as the fastest overall, followed by Fahmi and Dimas preparing for best result in Qualifying session in determining grid position.
Murobbil said, “Today in FP1, I tried my first machine but I encountered some minor issues. Then, in FP2, I tried the second machine and it performed really well which allowing me to secure the first position. I am very happy with the results because I obtained good datas too.”
“For tomorrow, I strive to do even better. Hopefully I will be able to do my best for the team and get podium position,” Murobbil added.
