Practice sessions for the TVS Racing International Championship category got underway today at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Italy, for Round 5 of the 2026 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. Mohd Ramdan Mohd Rosli of Malaysia and Luis Miguel of Spain tied on a lap time of 1’52.283s to round out the top five.
Later in Practice 2, Ramdan produced a stunning turnaround, dropping his benchmark to 1’50.543s to climb straight to the top of the leaderboard. Luca Agostinelli from Vietnam posted a 1’50.814s, just 0.271s behind Ramdan to take second place, while Portugal’s Pedrinho Matos clocked 1’51.059s to seal third.
Sarthak improved his personal best to 1’51.185s, which placed him fourth overall in the session. Cristian completed the top five with a best lap of 1’51.497s.
On the combined practice timesheets, Ramdan finished fastest overall, followed by Luca in second and Pedrinho in third. Sarthak and Oratilwe capped off the top five.
Ramdan said, “Overall, it was a very positive day across both sessions. Practice 2 went especially well, I managed to shave nearly two seconds off my lap time compared to Practice 1. We struggled with suspension setup issues this morning, but we took a clear step forward this afternoon and the bike felt much better. I still believe there is more pace to find, particularly by refining my lines through the corners in sectors 1, 2, and 3. For tomorrow’s Qualifying, the goal is to improve the lap time further. I feel focused, well-prepared, and determined to fight for maximum points this weekend in Misano.”
