ANDY GEARED UP FOR THE AP250 CHALLENGE IN SEPANG

Andy Muhammad Fadly of Motul Sniper Manual Tech Racing Team is all geared up for yet another challenge of AP250 at the Sepang International Circuit. The defending champion of year 2019 made a strong comeback when he finished Race 2 at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram living up to his title. The Indonesian lad who rides the Kawasaki Ninja 250 put on a good show in both races, riding alongside some of the best names in the championship. Round 1 saw a neck-to-neck battle between the AP250 riders and although Andy only managed to score third in Race 1, he was all smiles at the end of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, Round 1 when he took the lead and defeated his contender. Andy is quite the name on the AP250 ground. Having been in the game for over a decade, he has built his momentum and perfected his skills to match the needs of handling a machine that supersedes the speed and performances of rivalry. While some setbacks are unavoidable, Andy has his way of working around it. Commenting on the upcoming Round 2, “I am looking forward to the race at Sepang as I have carved some wonderful moments on the circuit. While the race poses new challenge in the presence of highly skilled riders, I am nevertheless thrilled to make my move in Round 2.” “My strategies are designed to ensure that I achieve better lap timings. IZZAT DETERMINED TO MAKE A COMEBACK THIS SEASON

Izzat Determined to Make a Comeback This Season Malaysian rider Md Izzat Zaidi Md Salehan of Pitsbike JRT One Way is covering all bases for the next round of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The seasoned Underbone 150cc rider who scored the first spot at the podium in Race 1 only managed to finish tenth in Race 2. In 2018, Izzat took an overall standing at the second spot on the podium and is determined to make his comeback for the season. Commenting on Round 1, “The Underbone race is always a highly competitive one and being among the best often has its ups and downs. On the up, it is a good platform to measure my performance as a rider while being the push that is needed to consistently keep up to the mark. Then, there are the external factors too. Race 2 was quite a challenge especially the unexpected heat in Buriram which made handling more strenuous.” “For Round 2, my aim is to make it to Top 5. Of course, this would require me to sharpen my skillset and strategize my moves that would go well with the circuit layout. I hope to give my best shot. ” For a first-timer at the ARRC, Pitsbike JRT One Way team stays positive and looks forward to the upcoming race. According to team manager, Jeremy Hoh Kok Hoong, “We are thrilled to have won the first spot in Race 1 considering being a newbie. We do not have much race data to take into consideration however the first round gave us some pertinent insights that is needed for further enhancement.” “Our preparations are on-going. VIETNAMESE RIDER STAY OPTIMISTIC FOR SEPANG

Nguyen Anh Tuan of HONDA Racing Team is learning the ropes and is optimistic about his ride at Round 2 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The Vietnamese rider who rides the Honda Winner 150 logged in 8th in Race 1 and 13th in Race 2. Anh Tuan first took the scene of the ARRC in the last round of 2019. Prior to that, he was actively striding in the Vietnam Motor Racing Championship (VMRC) where he reigned as champion for year 2017-2019. Keeping his chin up, Anh Tuan said, “The ARRC is a whole new battlefield for me. While Round 1 was an exciting experience, it was not an easy feat as these Underbone riders have earned their strength and reputation through years of experience. I try to pick up as much as I can from them to fast track my moves.” Commenting on the race at Sepang, he said, “I am a bundle of nerves when it comes to racing in Sepang as there will be many dexterous Malaysian riders nevertheless, I am gearing up through practices and fitness trainings. I believe that it would be a good race.” Commenting on the race, team manager, Do Thai Son said, “We are doing our best to equip our riders with the confidence they need when riding on the machine. Hence, a more powerful engine and a greater stability.” “Our aim is to progressively enhance the skills and performances of our riders. TWMR announces its partnership with TVS Racing of its participation in the TVS Asia One-Make Championship that will run alongside ARRC

TVS RACING PARTICIPATES IN ARRC FOR TVS ASIA ONE-MAKE CHAMPIONSHIP

Two Wheels Motor Racing announces its partnership with TVS Racing, the factory racing team of TVS Motor Company of its participation in the TVS Asia One-Make Championship that will run alongside FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The championship will see a total of sixteen riders from all over Asia who will be finalised on 27th April, 2022 for the first year. The selection will be held at the Sepang International Circuit where Round 2 of the ARRC will take place in May. Commenting on the development, Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company, said, “The engineering and performance prowess in our race machines has been derived from TVS Racing’s race-bred pedigree on the track, proving its mettle across a host of racing formats and has put us on the global map. We are excited about carving our success story internationally.
