Gupita Kresna Wardhana of ZIEAR LFN HP969 MCR RBT 34 achieved the near impossible in UB150 with an incredible performance in Race 2 of the opening round of the 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, held today at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand. The race saw positions change rapidly at every turn, with each rider fiercely contesting for the lead. No one allowed anyone else to maintain the top spot for long, which made the race result highly unpredictable. In a race category where, close finishes are more the norm than the exception, Gupita delivered a spectacular surprise in the final lap. Breaking free from the tightly packed group, he demonstrated exceptional skill and top speed, reaching 171.4 km/h as he accelerated down the final straight, pulling a decisive gap toward the finish line.Gupita crossed the line with a time of 16’29:405s, 0.356s ahead of the main group. Adytya Fauzi of JPNW SND FACTORY RACING secured second place with a time of 16’29:761s, while Dimas Juli Atmoko of RACETECH SIXTY RACING rounded out the podium in third at 16’29:930s. After his remarkable victory, Gupita shared his excitement, saying, “This is my first time winning here in Thailand. In previous seasons in UB150 class, I never managed to reach the podium; my best result was only P6. But Alhamdulillah, in Race 2 of Round 1 in the 2025 season, I was able to pull off this victory. Race 2 of the opening round at the 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand, saw Sarthak Chavan and Chiranth Vishwanath become the pride of India after securing the top two spots on the podium in the TVS ASIA One Make Championship.The race began with young rider Hunter Corney from Australia rocketing into the lead, closely trailed by Hiroki Ono from Japan and Sarthak. Chiranth refused to stay deep within the group and sped up to join the front group. He even set a fastest lap time of 1’50:737s with a top speed of 207.3 km/h. After swapping leads for several laps, the chequered flag came down in Sarthak’s favour. The Indian rider clocked his first-ever victory in the TVS ASIA One Make Championship with a time of 14’56:976s, 0.130s ahead of Chiranth Vishwanath from India. Hiroki rounded out the winning trifecta in third place with a time of 14’57:216s. Hunter, in final lap, made contact with another bike, which caused him to lose control and drop back from the front group, ultimately losing his position in the battle for the podium. Sarthak said, “Yesterday was not so good. I could’ve qualified for P1, but it didn’t go well. I had a big contact at Turn 3, and my rear suspension got locked in the mud guard. Yesterday, I was just thinking about what to do on the next day, and today I did it. The last lap was really intense; my bike felt like it was dropping a bit of power, but it was still a great race. I managed to do a good lap time and finish in P1. After about 10 years of being here, my national anthem is finally played in ARRC. I’m happy. NAKARIN DOMINANT ON HOME SOIL

Race 1 of the opening round of the IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in the ASB1000 category at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, saw Thai rider Nakarin Atiratphuvapat of HONDA RACING THAILAND clinch a commanding victory, securing the top spot on the podium. During the qualifying session, Muhammad Zaqhwan Zaidi of IDEMITSU HONDA RACING MALAYSIA earned pole position with the fastest lap time of 1’35:056s. Nakarin followed closely in second with a time of 1’35:276s, while Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah of JDT RACING TEAM secured the third grid position with a time of 1’35:378s. As the race began, Zaqhwan took the early lead, with Nakarin moving into second position ahead of Hafizh. Nakarin overtook Zaqhwan at Turn 3 on the opening lap. The top three riders quickly created a 1:550s gap from the chasing group. Running in P4, Apiwath Wongthananon of A1 ENERGY BMW RACING TEAM also began to pull away from the group in pursuit of the front-runners. Throughout the race, Nakarin and Zaqhwan exchanged the lead multiple times, displaying a fierce battle between the former teammates. Their pace pushed them 2:883s ahead of the rest of the field, and the gap continued to grow lap by lap. By lap 6, Apiwath overtook Hafizh to move into P3, aiming to secure a podium finish on home soil. On the final lap, Nakarin was in the lead, with Zaqhwan reaching a top speed of 303.4 km/h in an attempt to close the gap. Despite the pressure, Nakarin denied the overtaking attempt and proudly crossed the finish line to take the victory with a time of 16’06:372s. Zaqhwan finished in second place with a time of 16’06:613s, while Hafizh secured third place after overtaking Apiwath on the final turn, finishing with a time of 16’11:288s. Nakarin said, “This race was really difficult, especially learning the track conditions, since it was raining earlier in the SS600 race. I just tried to go step by step. I saw Zaqhwan was really fast, so I stayed behind him for a while. It might have looked like I was giving him space, but in the last three laps, I started pushing again. I noticed Zaqhwan getting a bit slower, and I knew I had to win this race, because I’ve been waiting for this moment since last season in this class. I’m very happy. SLIPPERY TRACK, SMOOTH VICTORY FOR ADENANTA

Race 1 of the opening round of the 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in the SS600 category saw Mohammad Adenanta Putra of ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM claim victory at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand. In the qualifying session, Muhammad Syarifuddin Azman of IDEMITSU HONDA RACING MALAYSIA secured pole position with the fastest lap time of 1’38:821s. McKinley Kyle Paz of HONG LEONG YAMAHA RACING took second with a time of 1’38:880s, while Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin, also of HONG LEONG YAMAHA RACING, qualified third with a lap time of 1’38:999s. At the start of the race, Syarifuddin launched into the lead with a strong start. Thanat Laoongplio of HONDA RACING THAILAND followed closely, with Adenanta settling into third. However, Adenanta didn’t wait long. He overtook to take the lead before entering lap 2. While Md Helmi Azman of IDEMITSU HONDA RACING MALAYSIA climbed to P3, closely tracking the top two riders. On lap 3, McKinley clocked an incredible lap time of 1’53:427s to move into P3. But, the intensity of the race only grew from there, as riders fiercely battled through the corners, frequently trading positions. The final lap saw a four-way fight between Adenanta, McKinley, Wahyu Nugroho of YAMAHA RACING INDONESIA, and Thanat. In the end, Adenanta held firm and crossed the finish line first with a time of 15’00:012s. McKinley finished second at 15’00:433s, while Wahyu secured the final podium spot at 15’00:736s. The track was actually quite slippery, but I stayed calm and tried to maintain my rhythm every lap. Fadillah Arbi Aditama of the ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM emerged victorious in a thrilling Race 1 of the AP250 category at the opening round of the 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, held at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand. In the qualifying session, Krittapat Keankum of the YAMAHA THAILAND RACING TEAM secured pole position with a fastest lap time of 1’50:603s. Fadillah followed closely in second with a time of 1’50:867s, while Riichi Takahira of TY ANTARES RACING TEAM qualified third at 1’51:614s. As the race began, Krittapat got off to a strong start, followed closely by Fadillah and Candra H of YAMAHA RACING INDONESIA, who held P2 and P3 respectively. Krittapat, Fadillah, and Candra quickly pulled away from the rest of the field, creating a 1:576s gap from the second group early in the race. On lap 3, Candra set an impressive lap time of 1’51:833s to take the lead. However, both Fadillah and Krittapat soon reclaimed the top positions in a tense back-and-forth battle. The final lap saw Fadillah redeem himself by crossing the finish line first with a time of 18’44:334s, followed by Candra at 18’46:404s. Davino Britani of ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM rounded out the podium with a time of 18’46:647s. Krittapat, who had shown tremendous pace throughout the race, entered last turn too aggressively, hoping to come out first for the run to the finish line, however he lost the front-end grip upon entry, resulting an unfortunate P16 for the pole setter. Fadillah said, “This was a really tough race. I thought it was going to rain, but it didn’t. And now, right after the finish, it’s started raining again! From the beginning, I focused on maintaining my pace because I knew I had the speed and understood my braking points. On the last lap, I gave it everything. I knew Krittapat would try to attack me at the final corner, so I decided to brake late. I was right on the limit and didn’t want to force a battle there, so when he went in too deep, I saw the opportunity, cut back inside, and took the win. Race 1 of the opening round of the 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, delivered a thrilling spectacle in the UB150 category. Husni Zainul Fuadzy of ZIEAR LFN HP969 MCR RBT 34 emerged victorious after an intense battle. In the Super Pole session, Shahrol Syazras Shahrol Yuzy of ESTREMO YUZY ASIA TEAM set the fastest lap time of 2’01:447s to secure pole position. He was followed by Fahmi Basam of YAMAHA LFN HP969 INDONESIA RACING TEAM with a time of 2’02:379s, while Husni qualified third at 2’02:766s. The race began with Syazras making a strong start to take the lead. Though frequently challenged, he managed to reclaim and maintain his position at the front. As Syazras maintained a steady pace in P1, riders behind him swapped positions at nearly every turn in a tightly contested race. Syazras built a gap of 0:510s ahead of the chasing group. However, the unpredictable nature of the UB150 category saw the pack close the gap in a matter of seconds. On the final lap, with pressure mounting, Husni surged into P1 and crossed the chequered flag to claim victory with a time of 16’21:843s. Fahmi initially finished second with a time of 16’21:894s, while Syazras completed the race in third at 16’22:011s. However, Fahmi was penalised one position for exceeding track limits at the final corner. Syazras who was supposed to take over was also penalised due to technical infringement. Next in line, Ahmad Afif Amran was announced for second place. Husni said, “I’m really grateful to have won today, and I hope I can deliver the same result tomorrow. It started to rain during the last two laps, so I had to be more cautious, but in the end, I still pushed beyond the limit to secure the victory. Race 1 of the TVS Asia One Make Championship, the opening round of the 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, took place today at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Thailand, where Japanese rider Hiroki Ono celebrated victory. In the earlier qualifying session, India’s Sarthak Chavan claimed pole position with a blistering lap time of 1’50:390s. Close behind him was Japan’s Hiroki Ono in second, clocking in at 1’50:507s, while Australia’s Hunter Corney rounded out the top three with a time of 1’50:893s. At the start of the race, Sarthak quickly asserted his dominance, leading the pack with Hiroki closely in pursuit. Malaysia’s Md Ramdan Rosli held onto third. The race featured intense battles among the top three riders from the 2024 season throughout the opening laps. On lap 4, while Hiroki was leading the race, Sarthak’s front tyre made contact with Ramdan’s rear tyre, causing a slight wobble. The turning point came on the final lap, when Luis made a bold move at the last corner to overtake Ramdan and set off in pursuit of Hiroki. The 2025 IDEMITSU FIM Asia Road Racing Championship kicked off with a strong local showing, as Krittapat Keankum of YAMAHA THAILAND RACING TEAM set the fastest time in the AP250 combined practice sessions at Chang International Circuit, Buriram, Thailand. In Practice 1, Krittapat topped the timesheets with a best lap of 1’51:688s. Just 0:044s behind him was Fadillah Arbi Aditama of ASTRA HONDA RACING TEAM, who posted a time of 1’51:732s. Riichi Takahira of TY ANTARES RACING TEAM completed the top three with a 1’52:251s lap. Krittapat continued his strong performance in Practice 2, improving his time to 1’51:549s. Riichi and Fadillah also maintained their presence in the top three, recording their best laps at 1’52:528s and 1’52:605s respectively to finish second and third in the session. In Practice 3, Krittapat held firm at the top, shaving more time off with a best lap of 1’51:495s. Fadillah followed in second with 1’51:881s, while Krittapat’s teammate Davino Britani stepped up to third with a 1’52:194s lap. Based on the combined practice results, Krittapat emerged as the fastest overall, marking a strong start to his campaign and making him a local hero in the making.
