The final run which lasted for 60 minutes came as a test between Andi and Khairul Idham Pawi of Boon Siew HONDA Racing Team, both taking a stride on the HONDA CBR600RR with a gap of 0.067s. “I struggled a little bit during the Day 1, Pre-Season Test however, I managed to find my footing in Day 2. I am more confident on the bike but needless to say, I have to continue improving myself for the Round 1.” “My target is always giving my best to the team. After two years of drought in the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship, the season opener finally came to live with the Pre-Season Test at Chang International Circuit, Buriram. The Pre-Season Test took place two days ahead of the official start. It was a crucial two days for the teams and riders. For most of them, this is the first time in two years that they get a chance to work on their bikes. Riding the Honda CRB250 RR, Mohd Adenanta Putra of ASTRA HONDA Racing Team extended his dominating pace on the first day of the pre-season test when he clocked in fastest at 1:53:715s for the AP250cc class. “It is a good feeling to make it the fastest on the first day of the Pre-Season Test. I took a step-by-step strategy in enhancing my skills throughout the practice. I hope to do even better tomorrow.” After a close competition with Piyawat Patoomyos of Honda Racing Thailand in all three pratices, the Indonesian rider made it ahead in time by 0.275s.
