The expectations are also different compared to when I raced at Sepang. But I have a feeling that it will be a fun ride at Sugo. I will do my best as I want another victory on the grounds of Japan.” Connect with Us! Latest news at asiaroadracing.com

Although he is undoubtedly one of a kind in his game, Round 1 was rather unsatisfactory for his standards when his close contenders knocked him down the chart. He buckled up and in Round 2, he moved himself upward on the podium, taking the second spot in Race 1 and concluding the finale at the top spot. Commenting on his strategies, Haruki said, “For Round 1 and Round 2, there were no specific strategies except that I kept pushing myself to do better. That worked!” For the upcoming race, Haruki said, “It is extremely exciting to race in my own country. I personally feel that I would do better with minimal stress compared to when I race abroad. Additionally, we have done one race in All Japan Championship at the circuit hence we have some data in hand that would help the team to identify the right settings for the machine. I am also better prepared as I am aware of the circuit’s layout. I will do my best as usual.” Connect with Us! Latest news at asiaroadracing.com

With Aiki Iyoshi of Motul Sniper Tech Racing Team revved up for a stride at his home-ground, Sugo Sportsland International Circuit will be a location not to be missed this weekend. It was merely about finding the right pace and getting used to the setup of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 for Aiki in Round 1 especially after the long drought in the championship. While he was not able to get ahead in line in both races of Round 1, it was quite the opposite for Aiki in Round 2. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FITNESS IS A MUST

John Emerson Inguito of 4S1M Yamaha Racing team is sharpening his skills in preparation for his race at the Sportsland Sugo International Circuit for the Underbone 150cc category of FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The season opener may not have been a very good start for John. Pacing aboard the Yamaha Sniper 150, John’s agility kept him afloat among the lead group. Unfortunately, some may say it’s timing or perhaps the inability to find the right moment to strike, he was soon overshadowed by the velocity of riders in the highly unpredictable category. In Round 2, John took the sixteenth spot on the grid upon completing the Super Pole session. While Race 1 of Round 2 held a setback for John when he couldn’t complete the race, he made a strong finish in Race 2 when he took the third spot on the podium. John currently sits at the ninth spot overall. Commenting on his previous challenges, John said, “For Race 1 of Round 2, my machine went into a serious mechanical problem and I could not complete the race. For Race 2, thankfully I was able to catch up when the issues were rectified. I was more confident in making the necessary moves needed to not just complete the race but to put on a good fight for a spot on the podium.” For Round 3 at Sugo, John said, “I am excited. We took an overall look into the performance of the machine and gave it the required boost it needs for an enhanced performance. As a rider, I have been working on my physical and mental wellness to ensure that it has what it takes to embrace thechallenges at Sugo. I want to be on the podium!” Connect with Us! OneXOX TKKR Racing Team principal Bobie Farid Shamsudin said the team was happy to finally welcome a talented rider to fill their second slot in the Supersport 600 class and Abe’s reputation as the fastest Yamaha rider in the All Japan Road Race Championship meant that it was an ideal fit. “Since 2020, we have been looking for suitable riders to fill our seats in the SS600 class.
