The show stopper category, Asia Superbike 1000cc wrapped Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship up when Haruki Noguchi of SDG Motor Sports HARC-PRO Ph., hit a blistering speed and swept the finest spot on the podium in Race 2 which was held at Sugo International Racing Course. As the fog set in around the circuit, Haruki prepared himself to brace yet another challenging and highly anticipated feat. His usual act to quickly grasp P1 as soon as the race flagged off gave him the push needed to take lead. Although he set the pace for eight laps, his ultimate contender Kasma came charging in at arm’s length with a threat to defeat him. By lap nine, Kasma slipped into P1 leaving Haruki enraged yet further drilled to accelerate. Kasma was steady with his moves and he firmly held on to his position at P1. For the remaining nine laps, Kasma kept his barriers up well, making it almost impossible for Haruki to slide back ahead of him. However, Haruki is not about to give in any further to Kasma’s games. At the last lap, Haruki found a small opening and quickly seized the moment to switch positions with Kasma. From then on, he was unbeatable. He clocked in at 27’00:055s. Commenting on the race, Haruki said, “No words to describe my joy today with the double win in Round 3. Before the round began, I was four points behind Zaqhwan but today, I am exhilarated to have taken over the top position.” “I wish to thank my team for the opportunity given. The SuperSports 600cc showcased an extraordinary talent when Kota Arakawa of MOTO BUM HONDA bagged the winning title in Race 2, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held at Sugo International Racing Course. It was Andi Farid Izdihar who broke into the lead position in the first lap. He then led on for three laps before Kota Arakawa took the speed of his machine one notch up, banking in P1 which he seemed to have accustomed to for the weekend. With Kota steadily charging up lap after lap, Andi was left in P2, waiting to strike. But Kota was relentless as he kept on his fight to maintain his position. Andi did not have a choice but to keep tailing Kota for the next seven laps before he re-strategized and overtook his number one contender in lap 10. But the battle was not over just yet. As there were another five more laps to go, it was then Andi’s turn to keep his speed up with Kota raging up behind him. Andi held on to P1 for the next three laps before being once again over-ridden by Kota. Towards the last lap, the neck-to-neck battle between Kota and Andi came to an end when the latter slipped while trying to switch positions with Kota. With that, the winning title fell into the hands of Kota once again when he clocked in at 22’52:361s. Commenting on the race, Kota said, “I guessed as much that the race would be a highly competitive one. My goal was to simply keep the top position throughout the race. Asia Production 250cc category completed Round 3 when Race 2 ended with Md Adenanta Putra of ASTRA Honda Racing Team topping the chart at the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held at Sugo International Racing Course. In the first four laps, Adenanta took lead with Rheza Danica Ahrens close behind, lurking for a chance to beat him at P1. However, Adenanta had his footing strong on the ground as he circled four laps at P1 before Aiki Iyoshi made his move to grab the spot. It was then a fiery battle between Aiki and Adenanta who went in and out of P1 before Aiki found his pace back at P1 for the remaining five laps. However, at the last lap, Adenanta found the opportunity to switch positions with Aiki and as the race heated up with the latter revving on to take dominance, a casualty struck, dragging down three riders including Aiki. The casualty was an open goal for Adenanta who was already leading, to make a dash across the finish line. He marked his fastest at 20’35:492s. Commenting on the race, Adenanta said, “First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has been truly supportive of my endeavours especially my team of mechanics and crew who have worked their best to enhance the performance of the machine.” “For today’s race, I pushed myself from the very beginning. Mid lap however, my tires were already wearing out and it became a little challenging. The highly anticipated Underbone 150cc category came to a close in Race 2, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held at the Sugo International Racing Course when Md Izzat Zaidi Md Salehan of Pitsbike JRT OneWay claimed victory. The race began with Md Izzat Zaidi taking a solid lead. However, the unpredictable race category saw a change of riders taking lead throughout the ten laps as they gambled their way closely in the massive trail. In lap six, Wahyu Aji Trilaksana who topped the race yesterday took a fall consequently opening up the opportunity for riders who are equally competitive a chance at victory. Izzat then maintained his speed while sliding in and out of the top five position. In lap seven and eight, Izzat found his way at the lead position but fell two positions down in lap nine. With April King taking lead in the final lap and prepping to make a dash, the last seconds of the nail-biting category saw Izzat storming into P1 before making a grand finish. Izzat clocked in at 18’08:432s. Commenting on the race, Izzat said, “I am very thankful that the setup of my machine was really good. VORAPONG TAKES A WIN IN SUGO

Vorapong Malahuan from Thailand pulled a stunner at Race 2, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in the TVS Asia One Make Championship category which was held at Sugo International Racing Course. The opening lap posed some pressure on Horaki when Vorapong took steady lead from P2 seconds after the race flagged off. However, in the seconds following, Horaki managed to find his composure before sliding back ahead at P1. Before the lap concluded, Horaki has comfortably dominated P1 with Vorapong on the chase. While the battle went on between Horaki and Vorapong, Horaki was determined to complete the race at P1. In lap 5 however, Vorapong found an opportunity to break the cycle but was immediately countered by Horaki in an impressive switch between the highly competitive duo. Meanwhile, Fugo Tanaka who took the third spot on the grid dropped a few positions down in the first lap. But Fugo was able to pick his pace up in lap 2 and by lap 3, he slipped into the top 3 position. From then on, it was all about maintaining his momentum at P3 as the chances of taking lead became slim. Ahead of him, the powerful duo was entangled in a heated fight. Horaki guarded his position for 9 laps but at the final lap, Vorapong made his ultimate move when he grabbed the P1 from Horaki before speeding ahead to the finish line. Vorapong clocked in at 17’12:569s. Commenting on the race, Vorapong said, “Today’s race has been an amazing one for me and I scored my very first win in Japan. I have waited for this moment in the last twelve years. Yesterday, I made a small mistake in the fourth lap which gave Hiroki the opportunity to speed up. Haruki Noguchi of SDG Motor Sports HARC-PRO Ph. made Japan proud today when he bagged victory in Race 1, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship in the Asia Superbike 1000cc category held at Sugo International Racing Course. The 20-lap race came to a halt when a casualty occurred after three laps. The race was rescheduled to 10 laps with Haruki at the pole position after he made fastest in the Super Pole session. Haruki who has stamped a trademark move in the ASB1000 category once again boasted his skills when he fled ahead of the troop at the lead position. As Zaqhwan trailed right behind him, Haruki began picking up speed and eventually made it an almost impossible task for his contender to strike. The race showcased Haruki’s confidence and fiery act as he guarded his position relentlessly till the end of the race. Haruki clocked in at 15’00:898s. Commenting on the race, Haruki said, “The prior practice and experience I had from the All Japan Championship gave me an insight into the condition and layout of the circuit, which I would say is a plus for me. Off course, apart from racing in my homeland which is yet another form of boost to my overall prowess. I would say that while my machine is in an extremely good condition, I still myselfstruggling at certain turns.” “The weather today has been good during the race. Some riders are extremely skilled on wet ground and as much as I have never experienced riding in rain, I would do my best if needs arise. KOTA TAKES THE WIN FOR JAPAN

Kota Arakawa of MOTO BUM HONDA swept the number one spot on the podium in Race 1, Round 3 of the SuperSports 600cc category at the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held at Sugo International Racing Course. Kota has been on a roll since the start of Round 3 when he marked fastest in all sessions beginning with the practice sessions, followed by the qualifying. His blistering speed did not take a notch down even for a second. He took the pole position at the start of Race 1 and made fiery laps around the circuit. Although he fell to P4 in the first lap when Andi Farid Izdihar grabbed the P1, he boosted his speed up and by lap two, he positioned himself second in line. By lap three, Kota was already gearing up to take back the lead position and in lap 4, he slammed Andi down to P2 and took P1. From then on, Kota was fearlessly circling the circuit with Andi on a wild chase to defeat him. However, being defeated was not in the game for Kota. He went on for the remaining 11 laps, maintaining his speed and composure before taking a grand finish. Kota clocked in victory at 23’02:948s. Commenting on the race, Kota said, “I haven’t raced in ARRC since 2019 which was my last race. Being able to come back is an honour to me. Takahide Tanaka of TEAM TEC2 & YSS NTR.JP marked a win in the Asia Production 250cc category at Race 1, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held at Sugo International Racing Course. It was an unfortunate start for the riders of the AP250 category who had to brace the race in rainy weather. While this may be an advantage to some riders, for many, it was a challenging task to complete. With three riders taking a fall in the very first lap and others taking a slower approach, it was a door of opportunity for riders who were confident enough to manoeuvre their machines on the slippery circuit. In that moment, Ryunosuke Nakamura of ENDLESS TEAM SHANTI took lead from the 8 th spot on the grid with Rafid Topan Sucipto of LFN HP969 Indonesia Racing Team tailing close behind. He went on for five laps before slipping into P3 by mid race. It was a golden opportunity for Takahide Tanaka who immediately grabbed the P1. He went on for the remaining laps in the lead position asRyunosuke picked his speed back up into P2. Takahide did not budge from his position. That left no opportunity for his contender, Ryunosuke to overcome the challenge before him. With that, Takahide made a dash to the finish line first followed by Ryunosuke. Wahyu Aji Trilaksana of ONEXOX TKKR Racing Team bagged the winning spot in Race 1, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held in Sugo International Racing Course for the Underbone 150cc category. The race category known for its complexity and the need for an unsurpassed technical expertise saw Wahyu Aji putting on a competitive fight in his bid to take victory. Wahyu took the 8 th spot on the grid but that never dragged him down as he picked up speed, lap by lap. While Wahyu struggled to get into the top five position in the first two laps, he made it at P5 in lap three. Wahyu Aji fell to P6 in the fourth lap but the length of the circuit gave him enough time to make it back to the top five group in the following lap. Hiroki Ono from Japan took the win today in Race 1 of the TVS Asia One Make Championship, Round 3 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship which was held in Sugo International Racing Course. Hiroki was undoubtedly impressive in his performances throughout the race. Taking the pole position on the grid, he took speed as soon as the race flagged off leaving a trail of riders on the chase. Hiroki’s consistency kept him at the lead position as he continued to flaunt his dexterity, not the least bit threatened by his contender in P2. During the practice sessions yesterday, Hiroki marked fastest in the first one at 1’44:006s and fell one spot down during the second session at 1’42:860s. Nevertheless, it was all about carving a recognition today. In the circuit known for its technical strain, Hiroki was unbeatable when he kept to his pace.
